Terms of Service
Last updated: October 18, 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and MetaDoc.AI LLC (“MetaDoc,” “we,” “our” or “us”) governing your access to and use of the MetaDoc website, consumer applications, Cairo, movement scans, wellness and health profile features, and other services offered through MetaDoc (the “Services”). By affirmatively agreeing to these Terms or using an account that has validly accepted them, you agree to comply with these Terms. Please read the dispute-resolution section.
1. Accounts, eligibility and authorized users
You may create a consumer account only for yourself or for another person you are legally authorized to represent. You must provide accurate information and maintain the security of your login. MetaDoc is not intended for children under 13. Users aged 13–17 may access only specifically enabled wellness features, subject to applicable guardian and minor-confidentiality rules. Record retrieval and independent medical-record sharing for minors are not part of the standard teen workflow. Certain services may require additional identity verification. Provider, employer and enterprise functions may be governed by a separate written agreement, which controls in the event of a conflict.
2. MetaDoc and MetaCare
MetaDoc operates the consumer wellness platform and provides available profiles, secure storage, record displays, movement screening, information summaries and Cairo wellness tools. MetaCare.ai is a separately operated company that may perform authorized medical-record connectivity and retrieval behind the MetaDoc interface. Any retrieval, transfer or subsequent use is subject to applicable laws, actual requester authority, signed authorizations where needed, healthcare-provider relationships, source restrictions, vendor terms and the companies’ governing agreements. A business associate agreement does not independently confer permission to obtain records for an unapproved purpose.
3. Wellness service; no medical diagnosis or treatment
MetaDoc provides informational and wellness technology. Scores, scanned measurements, summaries, AI responses, exercise suggestions and action plans may contain errors or omissions. They are not medical diagnoses, prescriptions, medical treatment or emergency services and are not a replacement for care from a licensed healthcare professional. We do not guarantee improvements in health, function, pain or prevention of injury. For emergencies, call 911 or your local emergency number. Consult a qualified professional before beginning activities that may be unsafe for you; stop an activity that produces concerning symptoms.
4. Movement screening and Cairo
With appropriate feature-specific notice and consent, MetaDoc may process camera or depth inputs to create silhouettes and movement or alignment metrics. Temporary images and derived measurements are handled as explained in the Privacy Policy and scan consent. If applicable law requires a biometric release or retention disclosure, that requirement is separate from acceptance of these Terms. Cairo may process information you elect to include in your MetaDoc health experience and produce personalized wellness explanations. Do not rely on Cairo alone for clinical or emergency decisions.
5. Medical records, identity and authorizations
Available record-connectivity features may permit you to request eligible information from healthcare providers and supported exchange sources using MetaCare services. Each record request requires an appropriate legally supported pathway and any necessary identity verification, patient request, authorization or established treatment-purpose authority. A consent checkbox does not establish an actual treating-provider relationship or override source and network rules. Records may be unavailable, incomplete, delayed or inaccurate, and a successful request is not guaranteed. We may decline unauthorized or technically unsupported requests. You may also exercise your legal rights to access your records directly from their original sources.
6. Storage, sharing and third-party clinicians
You may store and review lawfully obtained information in your MetaDoc account. We disclose individualized records or summaries to a new clinic only through an independently lawful pathway, ordinarily using a separate approval identifying the receiving clinic and information to be sent. We do not give employers or commercial partners general access to your identifiable health information. A clinic’s independent medical advice, diagnosis or treatment is its own responsibility unless a separate agreement expressly states otherwise. Information lawfully shared may be governed by the recipient’s own obligations after receipt.
7. Privacy, permissions and data use
The MetaDoc Privacy Policy explains information practices and privacy rights. Additional notices or consents may apply to health profiles, scans, record retrieval, clinic sharing, communications, optional research and future services. You retain applicable rights in your information and authorize MetaDoc to process it only to deliver requested features, maintain security, comply with law and perform other lawful uses described in our notices. Acceptance of these Terms is not a perpetual, unrestricted license to license identifiable medical records, sell health data, or train external AI systems. Optional research or properly de-identified licensing is not required for use of standard features, and source agreements may prohibit it regardless of any consent.
8. Paid features, memberships and record-connectivity services
We may offer no-charge features, recurring memberships and optional one-time technology services. An annual plan may include one eligible record-connectivity service during its plan year when described at checkout. Additional profile refreshes or a standalone service may be offered only on legally and contractually approved routes. Fees are for the genuine described MetaDoc service, not ownership of medical records, and do not replace or restrict patients’ access rights. Fees, included uses, availability, renewal, trials, taxes and cancellation conditions are disclosed before purchase. The standard wellness summary may be included as part of the purchased membership.
If you choose a recurring membership, you authorize charges at the frequency and rate disclosed at checkout until you cancel. Renewal changes, cancellation instructions, return or credit policies, and treatment of failed or unfulfilled connectivity orders will be displayed when you purchase. Cancellation stops future renewals as required by applicable law; it does not necessarily refund completed periods unless stated at checkout or required by law. We do not charge for a record-access operation where the applicable pathway or law prohibits the charge.
9. Responsibility for accounts and acceptable use
Do not impersonate others, submit false identity or clinical relationship information, access records without authority, share another person’s information unlawfully, defeat security controls, copy or redistribute proprietary MetaDoc software, reverse engineer except as permitted by law, abuse APIs or interfere with the service. Keep your credentials private and promptly tell us if you suspect unauthorized account activity. We may restrict or suspend access to prevent fraud, security incidents or misuse, subject to applicable law.
10. Ownership and feedback
MetaDoc and its licensors own the software, designs, documentation, trademarks, models and other intellectual property used in the Services, excluding information that belongs to you or other lawful rights holders. We grant you a personal, revocable, limited, nonexclusive license to use permitted consumer features. If you voluntarily submit general product feedback, you allow us to use it to improve the Services, but this does not authorize use of protected health information outside applicable consents.
11. Availability; third-party services
Features may change, be unavailable, require vendor connectivity, or be limited by geography, law or contractual restrictions. MetaDoc may use or connect to independent hosting, medical, identity, payment, app store and AI services. We cannot promise that other institutions will provide complete records or continuous service. None of these provisions waives obligations imposed by applicable privacy, security or consumer protection laws.
12. Deletion, termination and continuity of access
You may request account closure, withdrawal of future permissions and eligible data deletion using the app’s settings or contact@metadoc.ai. Some information may remain subject to lawfully applicable preservation periods, provider obligations, vendor contracts, ongoing security needs or dispute records. We may terminate or restrict accounts for material violations, fraud or security risks, consistent with applicable law. Closing an account does not revoke an already completed lawful disclosure to a third party or eliminate existing statutory access rights.
13. Communications and updates
We may send communications necessary for transactions, account security, privacy, service changes, consent receipts and customer support. Nonessential marketing is subject to applicable consent and opt-out requirements. We may revise these Terms prospectively; material changes will be communicated and, where necessary, accepted as required by law. Prior health-data permissions are not automatically expanded by a change to these Terms.
14. Warranty disclaimer
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, METADOC PROVIDES THE SERVICES ON AN “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” BASIS AND DISCLAIMS WARRANTIES OF UNINTERRUPTED OPERATION, ERROR-FREE RESULTS, SPECIFIC HEALTH OUTCOMES, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT TO THE EXTENT SUCH DISCLAIMERS ARE LAWFUL. THIS SECTION DOES NOT DISCLAIM NONWAIVABLE CONSUMER, HEALTH, PRIVACY OR SECURITY RIGHTS.
15. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, METADOC IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, PUNITIVE OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES ARISING FROM THE SERVICES. FOR CLAIMS THAT MAY LAWFULLY BE LIMITED, OUR TOTAL CONTRACTUAL LIABILITY IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF $100 OR THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE RELEVANT SERVICE IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT. THESE LIMITATIONS DO NOT APPLY WHERE PROHIBITED BY LAW OR TO LIABILITY THAT CANNOT LAWFULLY BE LIMITED, INCLUDING APPLICABLE CLAIMS FOR GROSS NEGLIGENCE, WILLFUL MISCONDUCT, PERSONAL INJURY OR STATUTORY PRIVACY RIGHTS.
16. Dispute resolution and arbitration
PLEASE READ THIS SECTION. EXCEPT AS PROVIDED BELOW AND WHERE PROHIBITED BY LAW, YOU AND METADOC AGREE THAT COVERED DISPUTES WILL BE RESOLVED BY INDIVIDUAL BINDING ARBITRATION INSTEAD OF COURT. YOU MAY OPT OUT WITHIN 30 DAYS AS DESCRIBED BELOW. NO TERM HERE LIMITS THE RIGHT TO COMPLAIN TO A GOVERNMENT AGENCY OR EXERCISE A NONWAIVABLE STATUTORY RIGHT.
Informal resolution
Before starting arbitration, a party will send a written description of the dispute and requested resolution to the other party and allow 30 days for a good-faith attempt to resolve it. Notices to MetaDoc may be sent to contact@metadoc.ai and MetaDoc.AI LLC, 6920 S Cimarron Rd, Suite 100, Las Vegas, NV 89113. Any legal limitation period is tolled during this period to the extent permitted by law.
Arbitration process
If informal efforts fail, covered disputes will be administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its applicable Consumer Arbitration Rules, or by an agreed neutral provider if AAA is unavailable. A neutral arbitrator will apply governing law and may award relief available on an individual basis under applicable law. Hearing location or remote participation and fees are governed by the applicable AAA consumer rules and mandatory law. A court with jurisdiction may enforce an arbitration award. Either party may bring an eligible individual case in small claims court, and either party may seek necessary interim relief or bring claims that the law does not permit to be arbitrated.
Individual proceedings and jury trial
To the extent permitted by applicable law, covered disputes will be pursued individually and not as a class, collective, consolidated or representative action. Where a claim lawfully proceeds in court, the parties waive jury trial to the extent permitted by law. If a nonwaivable right conflicts with these provisions, that right controls. If a court decides a particular claim must proceed in court, the remaining arbitrable claims will be resolved under this section to the extent necessary.
30-day opt out
You may reject this arbitration agreement by sending a notice within 30 days after you first accept it. Send your name, account email, mailing address and an explicit request to opt out of arbitration to contact@metadoc.ai, with a copy mailed to MetaDoc.AI LLC, 6920 S Cimarron Rd, Suite 100, Las Vegas, NV 89113. Valid opt-outs from earlier versions will continue to be honored. Opting out does not affect the rest of these Terms.
17. Governing law and miscellaneous terms
Nevada law and applicable federal law govern these Terms except where mandatory local consumer protections require otherwise. For proceedings properly brought in court, venue and jurisdiction are subject to applicable law. If a term is unenforceable, remaining terms continue to the extent allowed by law. We may not assign your rights or responsibilities in a manner prohibited by law; we may transfer these Terms in a lawful corporate transaction subject to applicable notice and privacy protections. These Terms, the Privacy Policy, feature-specific consents and separate applicable written agreements form the relevant contractual framework, with specific legally required authorizations governing the data uses they govern.
